We are a preK-Gr. 8 Classical Lutheran

 school in the Old Brooklyn area of Cleveland,

OH. Our school continues to grow and this year enjoyed a 40% jump in enrollment! We

now have 130 children growing

academically and spiritually in a family

oriented environment. We use the classical

model of education to provide all of our

students an opportunity to read and learn

from high quality literature. Students study

Latin to increase English vocabulary and to

increase their ease in the study of other

foreign languages. 

Our school also has an arts focus and we

use the fine arts to enhance student

learning in reading, math, science and

social studies. Students may study violin,

viola, cello, or bass and may

also choose to participate in the LMS

Orchestra.

We follow State of Ohio Academic Content Standards and students are assessed annually with the Ohio Achievement Test. We have earned National Accreditation! We also offer PE,art, and music for all grades. Our building is wirelessly connected to the internet and all classrooms have computer access including Smartboards. Our goal is to provide individual student access to technology by assigning a laptop computer to every child in the building. This has already been accomplished for our 7th/8th grade class! A computer lab is also open to students and parents for use during and outside of the school day.

At LMS, we believe that you are your child's first teacher. Your continued involvement in your child's education is very important. We encourage parent involvement and have monthly parent meetings at Family Night. We are looking forward to including a parent resource room where you can meet with other parents, check out books and videos or use the parent computers and printer.
