Luther Memorial School

On October 16th, Principal Schauer and Lutheran West student, Safa Abuamsha introduced the student body to LMS students Anthony and Erica. For two years Safa has tutored Anthony and last year tithed her earnings from CC's Pizza to help pay for Anthony's tuition costs. She and Principal Schauer have invited the student body to fund 100% of his tuition for the year and mentor Anthony and the other students of LMS. Please read on to learn about current needs at LMS and check the progress on your support.  

Current Needs:

Tutors for our Tuesday evening program at LMS from 6:30-7:30 pm. Email Mrs. Schauer.

Any help with our newly formed basketball teams. Lead a basketball clinic, help with equipment needs and come cheer at our games. Help get a cheerleading squad started. Contact Coach Kevin Williams or Mrs. Schauer

Work with Building Hope in the City to help and African Refugee family learn about life in America. Training provided. Call Brian Upton at 216.281.1700. 

HAVE AN IDEA FOR SERVICE?

Do you have a special interest or talent to share with our kids? Would you like to organize a one day event with your friends to benefit LMS? Would your team or club like to come out and read to our first grade class? Share your ideas with Mrs. Schauer or Miss Carrie Neumann, our first grade teacher and LHSW graduate.
